Received a call, the woman told me my Vodafone contract was coming to an end so I need to renew it. I said I don’t have a contract with Vodafone. She then asked who my contract was with. I got suspicious so I replied that I don’t have a contract. She got irritated and said do you understand what I’m saying. I said no. She then hung up.

Long delay and clicking sounds when I picked up. Nobody spoke at all.

Seventh time asking about insulation which is not needed in my 2nd floor flat! Still keep calling after asking them not too. Wish I could get their bosses number and hassle them the same. Scammers should be exposed.

Didnt recognise the number so didnt pick up. They left no message, so it cant have been urgent.

Answered and stayed quiet. An automated voice just said goodbye and the call ended. They rang again shortly after before I could block them.

Caller asked about wall insulation. I said I could not continue as I had an appointment, but they kept pushing the conversation instead of respecting what I said.

Answered a call from this Congleton number but there was no response on the line. I waited briefly before hanging up as nothing was said.

We never answer unfamiliar numbers anymore. The landline hardly gets used and these unwanted calls seem to happen all the time.

This woman's voice was clearly AI. She asked me a load of questions but didn't know my postcode or my name. Claimed to be a damp services company and told me it was a free survey to establish if I was eligible for funding to have damp proofing in my walls. Had a lot of superficial knowledge and then when I questioned her integrity, she tried to intimidate me with a follow up call from a supervisor. Her statements then became scripted and repetitive. I told them not to try to force me to accept a service I never asked for by pushing a narrative that my health is at risk and I would report this call. And that is why I am completing this comment.
