Calling every day, when i answered yesterday he said he knew my name and said he was from Virgin money and asked to take me through security - i said i don't have any acct with virgin so how could he have my details. He said if i could confirm 1st line of my address and postcode he could complete the security and explain what the call was about. When i challenged again around why he would have my details, he told me to call customer service line if i didn't want to speak but refused to tell me why he was calling or how he got my number. They have tried calling again today.

01416482757 been calling twice a day, even on bank holiday Good Friday which seems suspicious to me, said they're from Virgin Money with Scottish accent & first thing I was asked is first line of address & post code before he could state what the call was about for security reasons - I declined to talk and he said "no worries, calls will likely persist until your account reflects any recent payments" (which is overdue) - although my past dealings with Virgin Money they usually send a text asking me to call them first. I would suggest don't answer & contact Virgin money yourself just to be on the safe side if you are a customer😊

Second call today, give no explanation to who they are on voice mail just address me by my full name and ask if the call is for me? All automated.
