Claims to be calling about loft insulation. Ploughs on without listening when you decline, almost feels like a series of recordings. Having twice politely said we weren't interested, I hung up just as he was asking for my age.

Had call from this number (0161 949 1248) purporting to be "your local energy adviser". We've had many such calls purporting to be "your local energy adviser". Don't know all from this number. However, I decided to call them back. They said they were The Market Research Centre. I told them that they called saying they were my local energy adviser and that they obviously were not and were lying. When I asked for their address, she refused but apologised for inconvenience and said she would take me off their call list. Not a scam as such, but a real nuisance.
