Claimed to be BG saying they were going put standing charge up to £2.65 aday if that's the case they can take the gas out

Rang me at 17.15 on Tuesday 19/05/26 stating they were from British Gas and wanted to speak about prices. I told them I was already with British Gas and locked in to a contract where prices do not change. I challenged him regarding the call but he insisted he was from British Gas. If you get a call from this number either do not answer or tell them you know its a scam.
