Trying to move my phone line provider over to them. Claiming to be BT

Scam call centre. Was too occupied to get further details on this occasion.

Answered immediately but the line went dead straight away. Probably another scam. Been getting quite a few of these lately.

Asian sounding lady said Am I speaking to the owner of the property? I just said What do you want. And she hung up.

Picked up the phone and said hello. The caller put the phone down

Rang twice within an hour. First call just cut off when I answered, second time caller checked my name and said he was calling in connection with my landline but then he cut call off before I could answer.

Suggested that BT were going to reduce my landline cost because I had been with them a long time and they seem to know some things about my Bank account info. The person said she was called Jenny Bernest and had a Asian accent and she gave me her BT ID as B Jenny and asked me to confirm my Bank sort and account detail and I gave her not quite the right numbers and she said they did not compare with the one she had, so I rang Off.
