Got the call this morning, asking why did i enquire a cancellation of my broadband, which I did not, and nothing was changed on my account. Talked to an agent through the online chat that assured me nothing was changed and to ignore the call and text message. And as a cyber security student I flagged this as an security issue, as there was cleary some data breach somewhere. So don't give ay details, for them the years of birth and 2 digits of your Pin it's enough to access your account as they already have th rest of your details. So stay safe out there.

Had a call from this number claiming to be from Vodafone, to renew my contract which had been renewed a week previously and informed the person on the other end that they would have the details if they were from Vodafone. They clearly did not have the details and hung up.

This is a call centre acting on behalf of Vodafone - like all businesses they said its regarding my broadband - and wanted to verify it is myself as the account holder that they are speaking too, Isnt dodgy or a scam

Claimed to be Vodafone, I was busy at work and said call back tomorrow, seemed very deflated after that (why would an hourly paid call handler care?). I called back later out of curiosity and immediately answered with 'hello'. If you call Vodafone, it will 100% be an automated response saying 'thanks for calling Vodafone' and will give you options to press on the key pad to get to the right department. Not Vodaphone.

Claimed to be from Vodafone but couldn’t access my ‘file’ without asking for personal details. Said “I can prove it’s us by telling you the month you’re born” then proceeded to ask DOB etc. 2 phone calls in less than 24 hours
