Says they are from o2. I've started replying with "hello, this is the o2 fraud detection department. How may I help you" they soon hang up

Called our office multiple times saying from British Gas Lite - I have spoken to British Gas lite myself and they have confirmed Lite is dealt with online only and NO ONE will call requesting any details - BLOCKED!

Received a call from this number claiming its from British Gas and still checking all the details with us. Just hang up the call.

"Steve" from British Gas ... I do not think so. Tried from this number and called from others until I hung up. He then rung back to ask why I had hung up. Obviously not BRITISH GAS. Complete waste of our time!!

scam call from a broker. just spoken with British gas. BG will be the only ones who know your contract End date, so if they don't know this they re not your supplier and hang up. 01803 424 789 scam number.

Scam energy caller

Pretended to be from British Gas Lite with "errors" on their systems. Confirmed details on bill (him talking, me confirming). Then asked me to confirm contract end date, i refused, he hung up.

Phoned around 10 times within 24 hrs. Pretending to be from Utility supplier. Despite telling not interested, kept calling back.

Caller claimed to be an energy department adviser and started talking about home insulation and efficiency upgrades. The conversation felt scripted and did not sound like a genuine local service.
