Rang the number person that answered sounded like he was still in bed. Advised him that a their message was sent to a Samsung tablet that no one has the number for, call terminated immediately 😂

Mentioned in a text from a number referred to as Barclays - message says: "Declined transaction of £173.98 to SPORTS DIRECT. If this was you please reply with Y, if not please call immediately 01332 505647 Ref: HQUX-937" I suspect it to be a spoofing scam. Message received by me and a family member.

Scammers managed to hack a Barclays messenger hence ‘Barclay’ appearing at the top rather than a random number. Message looks like: Declined transaction of £173.98 to SPORTS DIRECT. If this was you please reply with Y, if not please call immediately on 01332 505647 Ref: HQUX-937

Had a message regarding a declined payment from Sports Direct - only found it suspicious because it asked me to reply Y to confirm this was me, but Barclays text message service doesn't allow replies to their texts. Thankfully I googled the number before making any calls
