Has been ringing regularly. I answer as hospital uses the house phone. Kept talking over me protesting. Windows and doors. Can’t find a way to block it.

Rang my landline. Did not leave a message.

Keeps calling, David from a Windows company, had about half dozen messages in the last week. Actually leaves a message on the answer phone. We have not looked for windows, no enquiries from any company. Registered with telephone pref service and ex directory. Normally the answer phone puts them off, blocked previous numbers from them, obviously they have multiple line access - or putting up a fake number.

AI SCAM!!! They started call with "can you hear me ok" DO NOT ANSWER "YES" because they will then use your YES answer and stitch it into their recording of the call to make out you agreed to things they asked you!!! Best advice is SAY NOTHING so they cannot deep fake you!!! AI SCAM!!!!!

Obviously AI and I suspect from the curious question "Can you hear me?" they are harvesting data to use in some kind of voice recognition fraud.

The caller says, Hello my name is James.... He has been repeatedly told not to call. Persistent and annoying

"Hi, my name's Steve, I'm your local energy consultant"

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

Called regarding loft insulation causing mould. Told the voice I was not interested but still told me I would receive another call in half an hour, so am assuming will have to ignore if I receive an unrecognised number call.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

James has rung on three occasions. Starts with Can You Hear Me and then talks non stop despite me saying not interested - says he is ringing on behalf of Government Energy Saving regarding roof insulation. Am wondering if this is AI as I asked if this is James and the message just went into This is James! Very irritating!

This company is calling multiple times from numbers ending in 00 though 09. Annoying.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Dangerous

Seemed to be AI generated male voice. Scam call likely trying to collect personal details.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

Caller asked if I could hear him and then disconnected once I replied. Suspicious behaviour.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

Caller spoke about windows and doors but ignored responses and continued with a scripted pitch. Clearly a cold call.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Neutral

"David from Windows and Doors Ltd". Not a company I have had any dealings with, and therefore this was a cold call and therefore illegal.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Dangerous

Concerned that the caller asked, 'can you hear me ok'? I answered, 'yes', there was no response so I hung up. I'm afraid now that my 'yes' answer could be used for something more sinister

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Dangerous

Caller introduced himself and immediately asked if I could hear him before mentioning windows and doors. Ended the call as it matched common scam patterns.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

Call came through but no message was left on the answerphone. No indication of who it was.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

David from a window company called. I cut him off.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

A rather hoity Toity AI voice, not unlike my ex.wife. Hung up.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

David asked if I could hear him. I said why? Apparently saying yes could let them use my voice weird

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Neutral

Unknown caller so declined to answer

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Harassing

Follow up calls after initial enquiry continued during a difficult time. Felt intrusive and unnecessary.

User reported 0131 231 2306 as Neutral

Unknown caller not answered. Reports suggest possible scam so treated with caution.
