User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

I'm sick of this number 0131 231 2307 ringing me up, started several weeks ago, once a day even twice a day, always different people, all with different questions ''Can you hear me ok'' -- ''Improve your double glazing with finances available'' -- ''Do you own a diesel vehicle'' How do they get away with this scamming ?

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

I recognised the voice, it was the same pest as from 01428340690. Call starts with something like "can you hear me? My name is David from Doors and Windows". These people are of no use to society. They should have all their phone and computer equipment confiscated at the very least. Maybe chop their hands off for good measure..

Call not answered as no call from Edinburgh expected. After checking here, the number is now blocked.

Often receive calls from automated “James” about loft insulation, windows, doors… this one is just the latest. Now, the automation even disregards you when you say ‘no’ to “I understand you’re the homeowner?” It’s so frequent that I’d report them for harassment if I thought there was a real UK company behind the calls.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Determined harassment in spite of me saying I was not interested in loft insulation.

Solar panel scheme mentioned but conversation did not continue, possibly automated.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Dangerous

Talking about solar panels, said old scheme, mentioned payment history, clearly a scam.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Dangerous

Robotic caller asking about eligibility for solar panels.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Dangerous

They were talking about solar panels. When I said we'd already got them she said that was an old scheme about renting roof space. After 15 years of getting quarterly payments for the electricity produced I think I know what we've got & we're very happy with them I hung up but then wished I'd just put the phone down & let her prattle on to herself.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Caller promoting solar heating with a recorded message that could not be interrupted. Hung up.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Dangerous

Claimed to be called David from a door & window company. Told him it was a scam and put phone down. Number blocked as I know nobody in Edinburgh.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Dangerous

Cold caller claiming to be from a windows and doors company. Left a message but it is not something I would trust or respond to.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Claimed to be from a windows and doors company but sounded like a typical scam call so I did not engage.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Unsolicited call from Windows & Doors claiming to be David. Hung up, suspected spam

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Caller checked that I could hear him, he then invoked a pre-recorded script which I could not stop. This was an unsolicited call, hanging up the call actions a clear down of the call after 9 seconds.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Cold caller trying to sell double glazing. The approach felt pushy and completely unexpected.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Dangerous

Attempted to sell windows and spoke over me when challenged. Aggressive scripted behaviour suggests scam.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Unknown number rang and left no message. Typical nuisance pattern.

User reported 0131 231 2307 as Harassing

Caller offered discounts on doors and windows but would not allow me to speak. Just kept talking over me which made it feel like a scripted sales call.
